01

PE-Stamped, Permit-Ready

Drawings and calculations prepared to clear plan check the first time.

02

The Engineer Who Designs It Stamps It

No hand-off to a junior drafter. One PE owns the package.

03

Coordinated With Your Team

We work from your architect’s drawings or design the structure directly.

04

Clear, Scoped Fees

Written scope and fee before we start — no hourly surprises.

What We Design

The full structural scope for new work.

This is our design pillar — separate from our existing-building compliance work. If you are building something new, adding to it, or reconfiguring it, this is the entry point.

01 · New Build

New Construction

Complete structural design for new single-family and light-commercial buildings, from foundation through roof framing and lateral system.

02 · ADU

ADU Structural Design

Detached ADUs, garage conversions, and JADUs. Our flagship design service — see the dedicated ADU page for scope and process.

03 · Expansion

Additions & Second Stories

New area added to an existing structure, including the upgrades the existing building needs to carry it.

04 · Remodel

Remodels & Wall Removals

Load-bearing wall removals, new openings, and reframing — with the beam, post, and footing design to support them.

05 · Substructure

Foundation & Framing Design

Footings, slabs, stem walls, and the complete gravity framing system sized to real loads.

06 · Lateral

Lateral Systems

Shear walls, moment frames where required, diaphragms, hold-downs, and connection detailing per ASCE 7.

Wide interior view down the length of a newly framed building, showing repeating roof trusses overhead and beam-to-post connections with metal hardware.

Code Basis

Designed to current code. PE-stamped.

Designed to the current California Building Code and IBC, with loads and seismic design per ASCE 7. Every drawing set and calculation package is stamped by a licensed California PE — the engineer who designs it is the engineer who stamps it.

Scope

What we provide — and what we don’t.

We provide structural engineering only. Architectural design, Title 24 energy, and MEP are handled by your architect or designer — we coordinate with them. We do not perform general contracting and we do not build the work.
