In Their Words

What clients say after a project closes.

Names withheld for client confidentiality — role, asset type, and city verified.

“Our SB-326 inspection was overdue and the board wanted a real engineer, not a checklist vendor. H2 turned a stamped report inside two weeks, walked our board through the findings, and flagged two repairs we’d otherwise have missed.”

“Fee proposal arrived the morning after we called. SB-721 inspections at three properties were scheduled, performed, and reported in the same calendar month. Carrier accepted the reports on the first submission.”
Property Manager

“Brought in for a litigation-support structural assessment on a contested HOA matter. The report read like a deposition exhibit — clear scope, defensible methodology, and findings tied to specific code citations. Settled before trial.”

“We’ve worked with five structural firms across our Palisades rebuilds. H2 is the only one whose drawings cleared LADBS plan check on the first pass, every time. RFIs come back the same day — from the PE, not an intern.”

Non-Ductile Concrete Buildings: The 10-year deadline is here.

If your building was constructed before 1977 and you received an Order to Comply from LADBS, the 10-year structural analysis and retrofit plans deadline is approaching — with most orders issued between 2016 and 2018. Engineering evaluation takes 4–6 months minimum. Owners who haven’t engaged a structural engineer are running out of time to meet the milestone without enforcement risk.
