For single-family residential construction in California, a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with structural expertise can sign and stamp drawings. An SE license is required for certain commercial and multi-story projects. We will confirm jurisdiction requirements at intake.
Yes. This is the standard workflow. Your architect sends us the architectural set, we produce the structural drawings and calculations, and we coordinate on any conflicts before submittal.
One round of plan check comment responses is included in all three tiers. Additional rounds are billed at $150/hr.
No. Streamlined permitting reduces planning and zoning review time, but it does not waive the structural drawing requirement. Every rebuild still needs a complete PE-stamped structural package for building and safety approval.
